Ben’s Paint Supply is an award-winning PPG Platinum distributor. That means we have the full resources of PPG in terms of paint lines, representative service, and both paint and business schools. Popular coatings such as Deltron, Global, Nexa, Shopline, Defleet, Essential, Concept, Envirobase, and the wild Vibrance collection all work together to form a complete offering of color and performance to meet the needs of your shop.
Custom Finishes & Restoration
Ben’s Paint Supply supplies quality equipment from DeVilbiss, Iwata, Paasche, Sata, Tekna, and many others. In addition, specialty abrasives, masking tapes, and papers, compounds, and polishes are in stock, most developed by 3M technology. Ben’s can provide you with original colors in most cases, and not just in one kind of paint. If no information is available, bring us a car part, and let’s see what we can do with the PPG Prophet color-match computer, or execute a match by eye if needed. Basecoat/clearcoat systems are becoming increasingly popular in restoration use as the clear protects all your hard work. However, some car shows require original single-stage systems if you are competing. We have both! Just give us a call.
Fleet & Commercial
Ben’s Paint Supply has the paint you need if you own a fleet of vehicles that needs to meet a specific color spec, or if you paint trucks for a living. PPG’s Delfleet high-end polyurethane coating is available in 3 basecoat and six single-stage qualities. Delfleet system coatings are durable, chemical & corrosion resistant, and resist runs on rivet heads. Various customer warranty programs are also available. PPG’s Commercial Performance Coatings (CPC) is another line of utility coatings available for fleet and industrial use. Priced right, they can fill needs where long-term durability is not required.
Industrial
Regarding industrial coatings, there is perhaps a surprising variety of offerings available from Ben’s. Some of it is unique and will require research and special ordering to ensure you get the correct coating and quantity for the job. Our industrial sales team stands ready to help you meet those needs, whether for manufacturing or refinishing. PPG’s Commercial Performance Coatings group of products (we call it CPC) provides speed and economy where they are needed. Small industry recognized a desire for automotive grade quality but at industrial pricing. CPC fits the bill. CPC is a complete line to suit almost every need, available in enamel, acrylic enamel, lacquer, and urethane, as well as a wide selection of corrosion-resistant and filler primers.
Marine & Aircraft
In addition to a variety of marine paints, we offer a selection of polyester and epoxy repair products as well. If you are not dealing with a marine application, but what you want to fix or paint is made of fiberglass, this area is for you, too. If you are dealing with plastics, we suggest you also look at our Automotive/Collision processes for repairing and painting plastics. The systems are the same as long as they are above the water line. Although some automotive coatings can be used, we recommend PPG’s Delfleet and Delfleet Essential as our premier performance and color selection coatings. Delfleet has 6 single-stage qualities, from a medium solids coating (FDG) to a highly chemical resistant finish (FDXH) that resists attack from aircraft hydraulic fluids.
