The store in New Smyrna Beach was the second to be opened. It began in 1980, but manager Doug Emerson has been in the PBE business since 1973. His wife Karen serves on the counter and has been with us since 1985. Like all of our stores, they are well-established in the marketplace. Being fairly close to Daytona affords them ways to handle special service requests quicker than most stores.

Charles St. Germain is the outside salesperson for New Smyrna and a portion of the Daytona market. Not pictured below is Dave Simons, who handles most of the industrial accounts for all locations. He's not only a salesperson, but he provides us all with the technical advice we need if we get stumped. So if what you need is near NSB, give them a call today!

Doug Emerson demerson@bensps.com 386-427-8080	Doug is the brother of owner Dennis Emerson and has been with Ben's from the very beginning, having worked with Ben Kimball before there was even the first store. As a young man, he would work weekends helping out where he could; he even repaired surfboards! He left for about a year and then came back in 1973, making deliveries and doing a little of everything, as was common then. Doug is married to Karen, who also works the counter. He has been the New Smyrna Beach manager since it opened in 1980. He enjoys his quiet time at home and tends to his collection of knives and guns. He also enjoys NASCAR and being outdoors. It would not be unusual to find him hiking around his property a bit.
Charles St. Germain cstgermain@bensps.com 386-871-6723	Charles supports the Daytona and New Smyrna stores as an Outside Sales Associate. He joined the Ben's family in January 2007 and his experience in the auto refinishing business dates back to 1992. Charles enjoys the relationships he has with Ben's customers and being able to assist them when faced with certain challenges. He states, "Ben's is a company that truly rewards its team members for their personal and professional growth and provides an atmosphere that's comfortable to do so". In 2008, he received the Ben's award for Pusuit of Excellence. Charles shares his life with his wife Courtney and his three children.
Karen Emerson	Karen is the wife of manager Doug Emerson. She has been with Ben's since 1985 and really enjoys the customer service aspect of the job. She enjoys spending time with her family, pruning the Bonsai plants, NASCAR, and increasing her spiritual growth.
