PPG Government Solutions is also involved in some hi-tech problem-solving coatings, such as intumescent paint, which allows occupants of a burning building more time to flee by creating its own insulation - or a polyurea coating (similar to automotive truck bedliner) which helps protect occupants in the event of a blast explosion originating outside the building.  PPG industrial coatings can be found in use all over the world.
